"I am deeply honored to receive the IBF's 2023 Dr. Chaman L. Jain Lifetime Achievement Award. The IBF is my tribe; a place where I go to learn, network, collaborate, and share. I can't think of any other activity or organization that has had a more profound impact on my knowledge and professional development. Thanks to the IBF, I was able to meet and collaborate with legendary figures in the field, including Dick Ling, Bob Stahl, Tom Wallace, Charlie Chase, Mike Gilliand, Lora Cecere, and Jonathon Karelse. Each of these connections made possible through my involvement with the IBF. Receiving an award bearing Dr. Jain's name is particularly meaningful to me. Dr. Jain had the foresight to identify an opportunity to enhance and advance our profession many years ago, and as a result, we all stand on his shoulders. The IBF organization was borne out of Dr. Jain’s unique and special vision. I cannot express enough my heartfelt gratitude to the IBF for this lifetime honor."
